Tuna Salad Sandwich


Busy summer months are the ultimate fun season. Don’t let your appetite slow you down when you pack a fan favorite – the tuna sandwich. Kick it up a notch with our Tuna Salad Sandwich Recipe. Made with Bumble Bee® Solid White Albacore in water, this sandwich varies from the traditional tuna melt with Tuscan flavors.

Prep Time: 15 minutes or less
Servings: 2 servings

INGREDIENTS

3 5oz. cans of Bumble Bee® Solid White Albacore in water, drained.
¼ cup of artichoke hearts, chopped
¼ cup of shredded carrots
2 teaspoons of mustard (Dijon preferred)
½ cup of plain Greek yogurt
¼ cup of red onions, diced
1 tablespoon of capers
Salt and pepper to taste
4 slices of multigrain bread
1 cup of spinach
2-4 slices of provolone cheese

DIRECTIONS


In a mixing bowl combine the drained tuna, artichokes, carrots, mustard, yogurt, onions, capers, and salt and pepper.

Lightly toast your bread in oven or toaster.

Place slice(s) of cheese on the bread and top with tuna mixture. Stack the spinach on top of the tuna and finish with another slice of bread.

Cut in half to serve.
