Tuna Tostadas



A seafood take on a traditional tostada, this Tuna Tostada recipe takes Bumble Bee® Solid White Albacore in Water and serves it up in a delicious tuna mix on a crunchy tostada, topped with a creamy cilantro lime cream. These flavors are sure to take your taste buds to a fiesta.

INGREDIENTS 

TOSTADAS

2 cans (5 oz.) Bumble Bee® Albacore tuna in water, drained
6 tostada shells
1/4 cup red onions, chopped
1/4 cup tomatoes, chopped
1 tablespoon of lime juice
2 tablespoons cilantro, finely chopped
1 avocado, sliced
2 tablespoons of cilantro crema

CILANTRO LIME CREMA
1 cup plain Greek yogurt or sour cream
1 clove of garlic
1/3 cup cilantro
1 1/2 teaspoons lime zest
1/4 teaspoon salt

DIRECTIONS

For Cilantro Lime Crema: Blend garlic and cilantro in a food processor and pulse until evenly combined. Add lime zest, salt and yogurt into food processor and continue to pulse until sauce is smooth. Set crema aside or store in refrigerator for later use. 

In a large mixing bowl, stir drained tuna, onions, tomatoes and lime juice until evenly mixed. Add salt and pepper. 

Scoop and spread tuna salad mixture onto tostada shell. 

Place avocado slices over tuna, top with cilantro lime crema and sprinkle chopped cilantro to finish.
